Bill Hamilton spent 32 years with the Regina Police Service in Saskatchewan. Today, he works as a consultant for Buckingham Security. In his tenure with the Police Service, he served for 12 years on the Special Weapons and Tactics team. In addition, Mr. Hamilton spent 15 years in crowd control and 13 years as a self-defense instructor. He also worked as a Weapons Incident instructor and an On-Scene Command Instructor. Earlier in his career, he was the Sergeant in Charge of Police Response for the Grey Cup. Since 2013, Mr. Hamilton has served as the Security Compliance Officer for the Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club. He also co-founded the Police Officer Safety Training (POST) program for Saskatchewan Police Service officers, and administered the program on behalf of the Saskatchewan Police College for 12 years. Beyond the police service, Mr. Hamilton is in charge of security operations for the Big Valley Jamboree, a mega concert in Alberta, Canada, that has drawn hundreds of thousands of country music fans over the past 25 years. Mr. Hamilton lives in Regina, Saskatchewan.
